when i go to install word press for the first time via FTP ( Filezilla ) I notice that at the bottom of “create a configuration file”
    There is :

    “Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    https://goo.gl/2f6xb

now i spoke to my host about this and they said the had duplicated the error i got and notice it as well so they downloaded the latest version of word press and tried the install as well and saw the Internal Server error and told me that it is not the server .. that its the word press files and that i should ignore that error and continue with the install…

i could continue but …i never saw that error before under the ” create a configuration file ” and i have installed word press hundreds of times…

I need to know what is causing this and how i can get rid of it/fix it.

now when i choose to ignore this error and proceed with the install:

“Welcome to WordPress. Before getting started, we need some information on the database. You will need to know the following items before proceeding.”

I enter my database info and i get the error :

    https://goo.gl/NKMT5

i can see this as a permission error ..but when i look at the permissions i see that all files permissions are set right …

anyways i go ahead and create it my self and i am able to install word press….
i guess i should just be happy about that …
but that Internal Server error is eating at me …any ideas?

thanks ..i just never saw that error before ..i didn’t want to bypass it then later on come accross an error thinking it was me

Probably new server does not have mod-rewrite active in php. Are you able to edit theme from WordPress dashboard. In my guess is right then you will not be able to edit theme and use auto update or auto plugin install feature.

or maybe because I am using php 5.3.

    it says ,

“PHP 5.3 introduced significant positive changes to PHP. However, some older applications may not work with PHP 5.3, as some php.ini directives are not compatible with PHP 5.3+ (e.g register_globals or cgi.force_redirect). If you are having issues, PHP 5.2 is available for backwards compatibility. ”
