Intern Plugin error

The all in one event calendar plugin disabels it selfs on my website. It says:
“All-in-One Event Calendar has been disabled due to an error:The specified file “date-icon.png” doesn’t exist.”
I can click on ‘Try reactivating the plug in’ and then it’s reactivated for a couple of hours and then its disabeled again.
What can I do?
(I disabeled the plugin and even deleted it (then all the hunderds of events where gone and I had to restore the back up) nothing helps. I didn’t do anything with the metioned file)
