• I have a gallion WordPress sites. After updating to 4.4.2, am finding that anything to do with plugin installation and updating and sometimes other things produces a “page not found” error. If I re-save the permalinks, it has no effect – it continues occuring shortly. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling plugins, deactivating all and reactivating one at a time… I commonly use WP Super Cache, Yoast SEO and Limit Login Attempts. I’ve done all manner of things to try to find a pattern but cannot. I thought for a bit that it was not validating the nonce code, but this was not the issue because it would come up with page not found errors regardless of whether or not nonce was at the end of the URL. Is anyone else finding this same problem, and has anyone resolved it? Help!

Also, in the error.log file, I see a lot of errors: “premature end of script headers”

It could be a hosting/server issue – especially if you are on shared hosting. Is there any specific plugin referenced in those “premature end of script headers” error reports?
