intermittent admin top bar disappearing

  • Hi there,
    I am writing to ask about an intermittent admin bar. The top admin bar disappears when I edit a page, and returns when I clear the cache.

    Is there any way to ensure that the admin bar will stay on the page after editing? I don’t want to hand over this site with a bug in it!

    It’s notoriously difficult to debug intermittent errors unless you can reliably reproduce the problem. Does it happen every time you edit? The admin bar is intentionally hidden when the editor is put into fullscreen mode. If you are sure this option (3 dot menu at upper right) is unchecked, there could be a script error on the page. When the problem occurs, see if any JavaScript errors are logged in your browser console.
