    Hi,

    Some customers on the site have been shown a 502 error page when checking out with Stripe. The page states:

    “The page request was cancelled because it took too long to complete”

    The main problem is, customers are retrying the checkout and then subsequently being ordering twice (obviously the initial submission did get through eventually).

    The stripe docs state that a 5xx is caused by an error with their servers, but suggests there are ways to mitigate against it (e.g. idempotency keys). Is this something that the plugin should be doing or is there nothing we can do until Stripe fix whatever issue they’re having?

    It looks like the error may be originating on the server, so I’m going to close this until we can determine where this is coming from! ??
