Hi There, I am getting intermittent 404 page not found errors when attempting to access my galleries at:

    https://lighthousefarmstead.com/wp/?page_id=83

I can hit refresh and the error goes away. So there must be something conflicting going on. I cleared the cache etc. Any information is appreciated. I don’t want to have to redo the galleries and use another plugin. Thanks, Beth

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @elizabeth-abernathy,

Would you please go to WordPress Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks and try saving your permalinks again?

Let me know if that fixes the 404 errors.

Do you have any WordPress caching plugins active?

Hi There, I have saved the permalinks a couple of times now. The site is hosted with Blue Host and I do not have any caching plugins installed. I really need to get this fixed so any help is greatly appreciated.

If by chance you are not able to replicate the Page Not Found error, try looking at the Gallery page at:

    https://lighthousefarmstead.com/wp/?page_id=83

then clicking through to any gallery using Internet Explorer or on your phone… the issue can be replicated that way. A screen shot is here:

    Thank you in advance. -Beth

    Hi @elizabeth-abernathy,

I’ve just tried to use the two links you’ve provided and I’m receiving 404 errors.

This definitely looks like a permalinks and / or hosting account issue and not something to do with FooGallery.

For example I can happily access your site by using permalinks like this:

    https://lighthousefarmstead.com/wp/gallery/

…and the galleries work perfectly using that link.

Where are you getting the numeric urls from such as https://lighthousefarmstead.com/wp/?page_id=83?

Please check with your hosting company that permalinks are being saved correctly. I’m not sure what else to say at the moment except that this does not appear to be anything to do with FooGallery.

I’ll mark this support request as resolved for now and please feel free to open a new one if you have further information that leads you to believe FooGallery is somehow involved.
