I have interlinks manager and Rank Math SEO Pro installed on the same website. I contacted Rank Math SEO about an issue I was having where I couldn’t access the data and change any title tags or meta descriptions. They took a look at the site and determined there was a conflict with interlinks manager. Can you please take a look into this conflict? Everything is updated to the latest version on the website including WordPress 5.8.

  • I encountered the same conflict. Our issue is that when we select multiple categories, the radio button does not appear for us to choose the primary category. We tried to use another plugin, Select Primary Category (version 1.0) by Deniz ?zsen to force the selection of a primary category, but neither the permalink nor the breadcrumb in the front-end changes to reflect the chosen primary category.

So we thought the issue lies with Rank Math SEO (since we use it for the breadcrumb as well) and we contacted the plugin author. They suggested that I install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to troubleshoot. So I did and I went through the tedious process of re-enabling plugins one-by-one.

In the end, we determined that Interlinks Manager is the plugin causing the conflict. The issue isn’t just with the inability to choose the primary category. With Interlinks Manager plugin installed, the Rank Math SEO meta box cannot be expanded in the Edit Post view.

I marked the topic as solved. Please open a new topic with all the details required to reproduce the issue if needed.

    I have the same issue.

I noticed that your fix was just a downgrade from version 1.23 to 1.03. I tried version 1.03. Several features are gone such as hits, wizards, all and category. All the data in the dashboard on 1.23 doesn’t show on 1.03. When I switch back to version 1.23, data are still there. May I know why this is?

On your PRO version, have you fixed this issue? Is your PRO version still a downgrade to 1.03?

    Hello Larrie,

I noticed that your fix was just a downgrade from version 1.23 to 1.03.

The plugin has not been updated to address this specific issue because we have not received details on how to reproduce the issue. The last plugin updates has been published one month before this topic. Here you can find the change log.

    Please note what follows:

    • Questions for the pro version should be asked with one of the contact methods described in the Support page of our website. The support section on www.remarpro.com should only be used for the plugins published on www.remarpro.com. Here you can find the Forum Guidelines.
    • The free and pro versions are two different plugins and you can’t upgrade or downgrade between these two versions.
    • The free version and the pro version have different features. The pro version have more features and menus. (the hits, wizards, etc. menu are only available in the pro version)

Let me know if you have other questions.
