    Hello all,

I am transferring my blog to a new hosting service. I created a new mysql server and updated it with my old database info, I copied my blog over to its new location and updated the wp_config.php file and I am getting the following error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/35/d194792757/htdocs/rocketseason/wp-config.php:1) in /homepages/35/d194792757/htdocs/rocketseason/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 391

    Interesting indeed. Any ideas?

Check the wp-config file for space before the <?

    Delete the extra space.

Nope. No space there. But thanks for the try!

    Resolved!

I had edited my wp_config file using TextWrangler which added another line after the ?> at the end.

Simply removing the line in TextWrangler was not enough. I needed to re-write the last line in Text Edit. This removed all the issues and now it works…

…of course I have new problems, but this particular one is resolved.

Sorry, did you also check the end? This normally is the result of having extra white space in the wp-config.php file somewhere.

yes. I rewrote both the open and close tags.

    FYI: same problem, same resolution
