Interesting, but

  • I like the fact that Elementor added this option. But i have 2 issues with this that really don’t sit well moving forward.

    • Spammy behavior, prompting install to compress. Very annoying.
    • The pricing model compared to established plugins that offer the same features (and maybe better). Shortpixel and Imagify offers a $9.99 unlimited credit plan. Why in the world would you want to even look at the Elementor version?? Come on guys, why would you do that and not offer a similar unlimited plan??!!

    So, it’s a pass on this. Would like to love it, but at the moment the pricing model doesn’t sit well with me.
    It’s like the EV range anxiety, with additional credits being taken for WP sizes you don’t really have a ‘set it and forget it option now with the Elementor image resize plugin’.
