“Interested Persons” not showing count, no alerts going out

We’re new to working with this plugin but have found that the back end isn’t showing the number of subscribers waiting to get updates on an out of stock product (on the products page). When we put an item back in stock, it’s not sending out notification emails. Are there any known conflicts with other plugins or themes that could be causing this? We do have the most updated version of the plugin (as of this morning). Happy to send over logins for our staging environment privately if you’d like.
