Interactive WP Site

  • I am trying to develop a site where users are of 2 different types – basically one is ’employers’ and one is ‘job seekers’. The job seekers have an account (call it a Job Seeker account) and they enter their details (name, address, experience etc etc) and the employers also have an account (call it an employer account) and can browse the job seekers and then contact them. So there would be 2 different login types (Job Seeker or Employer). When employers are logged in they can browse job seekers when ‘Job Seekers’ Login they can only see their own account and update it….Can I do this with WP? I have done this with Wix code, but cant figure out how to do it in WP. For an example of what I mean have a look at [link redacted] ….which is the Wix code site.Thanks in advance

    Hi Steve, Thanks for your reply…and yes there appear to be some very good plugins for job boards….can I be a little more specific. What I am trying to achieve is the following

    An ’employer’ can list a job, so maybe something like ‘wash my car’, ‘fix my PC’ or ‘install a new boiler’ and a job seeker can then view (and search through) all these jobs and take the one(s) he or she wants…once that job is taken it is removed from the list

    The employer and job seeker then will have each others details and can then contact each other and make arrangements to get the job done
