Interaction between Elementor and Media Library Assistant

    I am the author of the Media Library Assistant plugin. One of my users has reported an interaction between my plugin and Elementor. You can find the details in this support topic:

    After 2 years… I figured it out

    I have reproduced the problem on my test system, but my JavaScript skills are limited and I do not understand the Elementor scripts well enough to identify the cause of the problem.

    If you can find the cause of the problem I will make any changes to my plugin required to resolve it. Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Thanks for reaching out,

    I tried taking a look at what could be the cause and the only thing I can come up with is jQuery version collision more specifically The $.fn.css() method.

    But I wouldn’t worry about it too much as we are upgrading our Color Control in the upcoming versions.

    FYI- I just ran a test with the latest version of Elementor and I’m still seeing the issue. Anyone heard any updates on timing?
