• Hello, I have a wp.org site and a wp.com site. I was able to figure out to import my followers to my site, and someone I imported from .com made a comment on something, so it seems that those followers can see when I post on .org.

Is it possible for me to interact wp.com to read, comment, and follow? If so, how is it done?

  • Hi @jcscripts,

Have you completely shut down your account over at WordPress.com ? Are the two websites the same or different? If exactly the same and by import you mean subscribed then of course they will be able to see your post even if it is on www.remarpro.com.
Could you please explain how you would like to interact with WordPress.com even after migrating over to www.remarpro.com and why you want to do so?

    Thanks for responding.

    1. My account at wordpress.com is open, but I would like to eventually close it.

    2. They have the same usernames but different names: the hosted site is jcscripts.com and the wordpress.com site is https://jcvincent1.wordpress.com.

    3. I moved my followers, so I assume they see me posting on jcscripts.com

    4. I want to (interact) remain a part of the wordpress.com community via my own site, reading, liking, following.

    5. My host is godaddy. Don’t know if it matters.

    6. I am not tech savvy at all and require very detailed step by step instructions. I hope I was able to clarify.

    7. Thanks again.

    Hi @jcscripts,

Your point number 3: “I moved my followers, so I assume they see me posting on jcscripts.com” – Yes, since they have subscribed to you by their email they should still be receiving your post updates and viewing your posts.

You can still remain a part of the WordPress.com community. So what are we exactly stuck up on? I am not sure what is it that you need help with exactly?

The problem is I am not able to read their posts and comment in WordPress.com, or I don’t know how. Can you help with that? Thanks.

    Hi @jcscripts,

If you are looking for help with WordPress.com, I think you need to ask questions over at:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/

They should be able to help you with this further. On this forum our main focus is with www.remarpro.com stuff.
