    Hey otoarby,

    Thanks for using our plugin!

It could be that you have certain fields in your MailChimp list set to required, which are not present in your comment form. If that’s the case, MailChimp will reject the submitted data because it thinks some details are missing. Could you check if that’s the case? I have a handy manual for you that walks you through this process (you might not receive the “Oops” error listed there, but the steps are the same).

Let me know what that did!

    Hi Ines,

Thanks for your hints! My form field type was “text” while mailchimp value is “email” so I modified its type to “email”. Of course my form has only one field and that is Email.
Also I did check the required field option, both have required option for email field but still it does not work and visitors do not receive any confirmation mail.

Is there any other point I should attend to?

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

I switched my theme to WordPress “Twenty Sixteen” original theme and tried mailchimp subscription through comment form, but failed again and do not receive any confirmation email while CF7 form works very good and send emails instantly. I think confirmation email of comment form should be delivered after comment approval by admin but even when I approve comments, user does not receive any mail.

    I`m confused! help me please.

    Hello Otoraby,

Can you please confirm if you have checked the “double opt-in” option by going to “MailChimp for WP > Integrations > Comment Form”. Can you please also share a screenshot of this setting page.
