Integration with WP All Import

I am using WP All Import to create events from an XML feed and add them as Event posts in the Events Manager.

If I set the items to be published on import, I see the number at the top of the event list appears to represent the number of items imported but there are no events showing (links that appear in event lists in widgets on the front end lead to 404 pages)

If I set the items to be created as drafts on import, I can manually publish them and the events work fine.

I’m not sure if this is because WP Events Manager also creates a post.

Has anyone used WP All Import or other plugin to import and publish events into WP Event Manager? I need these to be auto-published…i can’t manage periodically checking the site to publish the new posts.
