• Hi
I tried snowball out and it is great. I was wondering how is it integrated into “posts” section, because after I installed it on wp it created its own section basically.

Is it possible to make text editor portion of it more advanced in wysiwig mode to be able to easily change colors, fonts?

Or better yet to toggle snowball functionality on/off so that only advanced articles needing it would use it and for regular ones editors could use regular fast and quick option.

    Hi recons,

Snowball articles are not integrated with Posts, but create their own custom post type. Unfortunately, the editor is only available to author this custom post type, not standard posts.

However, any Snowball articles you create should show up alongside standard posts on your blog, such as your index, search, and menus.

So you can pick and choose which articles it would make sense to use Snowball for, and which only require basic text editing functions.

    Hope that helps,
    Tom

    Thank you, Tom.

Will try and let you know.

For Snowball articles, is there a reason why the wysiwig for text portion has so few features?

    Hi recons,

Snowball’s approach is to have a text input side-by-side with a live preview output, instead of combining them as a WYSIWYG editor. Our reason for this is that WYSIWYG may be simpler to use at first but can result in messy markup over time.

Is there a particular feature of the WYSIWYG editor that you’re wishing for in the text block?
