Integration with multiple ShipStation Accounts

    Hello!

    We are currently using the Shipstation Integration plugin to connect our Woo Store to a single ShipStation account. We inherited the website from a different developer who had set up the store to send orders to our ShipStation account and another Vendor’s as well.
    Due to some restructuring of the site, the connections to the ShipStation stores were terminated. Out of an abundance of caution, we wanted to confirm if it was possible to connect more than 1 ShipStation accounts using the authentication key generated by the plugin? We have gone through the documentation available for the plugin (on Woo + Shipstation) and there is no mention of the number of ShipStation accounts that can use the same authentication key. We would appreciate any and all information you can provide regarding this issue. Thank you.

    Hi Shama @shamajay,

    I completely understand your concerns!

    To be on the safe side, what you can do is to generate a new authentication key by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your WordPress admin area
    2. Create a full backup of your site
    3. Deactivate the ShipStation plugin
    4. Navigate to the hidden settings page at https://domainname.com/wp-admin/options.php (replace ‘domainname.com’ with your own)
    5. Search for a field called woocommerce_shipstation_auth_key
    6. Delete the value (which is the unique key) next to it and click to save at the bottom
    7. Once saved, the ShipStation plugin will automatically generate a new key for you to use
