• Hi,

We currently use our website as a learning management system using UM to control membership levels & access to certain sections of the site but also use LearnDash LMS as our learning management system to host courses.

We’re currently using the role functionality on our site, so when someone registers on the site and chooses role ‘a’ they are automatically enrolled into community role ‘a’ and get access to pages with that membership level set.

We also have LearnDash groups which control access to courses. What we’d like to do is when a new user is automatically added to a UM community group is to also add them to the related LearnDash group, which at the moment has to be done manually.

Is there anyway to do this? In the user meta table the learndash group is idetified by a post ID, so a LearnDash group might be post ID 12345, if they have the value 12345 in this column they have access to the group.

Is it possible, when a user registers and is automatically enrolled into a UM community group something can fire to add them into the LearnDash group too? I assume it would be as using UM we have created other custom user meta fields, we’d just need to populate the LearnDash post ID meta field accordingly.

    Hope you can help.
    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi @blanch80,

I’m afraid this functionality would require customization and integration between Ultimate member and LMS LearnDash plugin. If you need this customization, please consider hiring a qualified developer for assistance.

    Regards.
