I tried to integrate “Mailchimp for WordPress” with Gravity Forms and on the “Mailchimp for WP > Integrations” page, I clicked on Gravity Forms and it says: “To integrate with Gravity Forms, add the “Mailchimp for WordPress” field to one of your Gravity Forms forms.” So I added the “Mailchimp for WordPress” field to our Subscription form and it creates a checkbox on the Subscription page. I have no idea what a customer is supposed to do with a checkbox (and neither will they). I thought maybe it would create an email field where the customer can enter their email address, so that it can be added to Mailchimp. However, it just created a checkbox and upon testing, the subscriber was not added to the list on Mailchimp. Furthermore, I searched the Knowledge Base and couldn’t find any documentation which explains what we’re supposed to do with this checkbox, or how we’re supposed to set it up. If anyone has any guidance, it would be greatly appreciated!

I finally figured out that this was a checkbox that was added to the form, which would say “Sign me up for your newsletter” and the customer would have to check it to be added as a subscriber. Perhaps this should have been explained in the Knowledge Base, so that it wouldn’t have been so confusing.
