Integration with facebook and twitter creates wrong links

I was *just* about to post about the same thing. I think that the problem beginning coincided with the most recent WP update but I can’t be 100% sure – I know I updated JetPack in the last couple of days also.

My symptoms are the exact same as wellnessfight has listed above.

I’ve cleanly removed and then re-added my link to facebook (I don’t “publicize” to Twitter) and that has not helped.

Sorry, I assumed as I was reporting the same problem it would make sense to keep things in one thread as there would be a similar resolution…

Same issue here. I have a lot of blogs and I noticed that only happens on sites with custom permalinks.

I didn’t any change, just stop working, one site has Jetpack Versión 2.3.5, and the other Versión 2.3.4, both posts wrong urls, both had custom permalinks that includes category in the permalink

This has started happening to me as of the latest update, and the category name it should be including is actually default one for posts.

Thank you Jeremy, and I have seen you reply to someone else asking for their permalink structure…If it is any help mine is a Custom Structure with /%category%/%postname%/ in the box after the site url

I have just carried out those instructions, and unfortunately it has not fixed the problem. It still misses out the category from the url

I have the same problem with https://www.go-windows.de – last post to facebook was 5 minutes ago with wrong link.

Still the same problem, i got a lot of 301 redirects now :/

Yup – Jetpack adds /?fb_source=pubv1 to the end of facebook urls. Have disconnected/reconnected, deleted jetpack/re-installed jetpack. Still same problem.

I also have the same problem. Only for me it happens with LinkedIn posts. Permalink is set to /%category%/%postname%/. Whenever Publicize posts to linkedIn it seems to strip the categories from the URL.

Tried all these things:
– Re-save permalinks
– Check the url’s in settings
– Disconnect/reconnect accounts
– Disconnect/reconnect jetpack
