I’m happy to check on this for you if you wouldn’t mind providing more details. Can you tell me about your use case?

I’d like Customer.io to send our WordPress transactional emails such as:
    Forgot password
    Password reset

We could certainly build a WP plugin that disables those emails from being sent by WP and instead sends a few events and identify calls to our API so you can create and maintain those messages in Customer.io.

I’m guessing you’re already sending other emails through customer.io or have plans to? Curious of the big picture.

    Thanks!

    Jon,

Yes that would be great! Events and identify calls would be ideal because we could have a much more complete picture of users. We’re currently migrating over from Sendgrid. Our use case is 2 fold (creator and consumer). We have an interactive storytelling platform where consumers can play interactive choose-your-own-adventure stories on their mobile app. We’ll be integrating with your API from that direction. On the WordPress side, we allow writers to create these stories. From this side, the integrations are limited in how we get data over to your platform. We’ve been using Zapier but that’s not ideal. We’d like to focus most of our technical resources on the mobile app rather than WordPress… where the promise is that a non-technical person like myself can get a decent solution up and running.

    Best,
    Thomas
