integration with custom taxononmy

Apparently Elementor is not designed to handle any kind of custom taxonomy. Maybe custom taxonomies can not be edited from the front end??

Unfortunately I am far down the road on using Elementor in a website for a client that uses two plugins that use custom taxonomies.

what I need is to hook elementor up to the what I see in classic editor for adding an event as in the events manager plugin.

If this works in the pro version great. I will buy in.

If not, it seems to me that not handling custom taxonomies in the elementor editor is a great detriment to a fine plugin.

If it is something I have not setup right in the elementor settings, please tell me and I will fix.
