I don’t know a lot about WordPress yet (just transferred from Blogger). I am hoping to integrate an e-store into my blog and just installed the Jigoshop plugin. Can I integrate it into my blog? If so, I’m wondering how that happens.

I’ve added a few items to my store, but there doesn’t appear to be a way to link the store to my menu bar. I’m getting a notice that I don’t have enough memory. Will that keep it from “turning on?” I’m reaching out to my host to access more memory.

    Thank you!

  • Hi,

To disbale memory notification you need to edit your ‘wp-config.php’ file, got to site root directoy (use FTP Client) and open a file ‘wp-config.php’ add the following code in empty line (lines from 30 to 40)
    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); See the screen : https://scr.hu/3k1d/o6a1k

in one post it is hard to explane how you can setup your WordPress, maybe the links below would be helpful:

    Hi,

Thanks so much for a quick response.

I read about how to change the memory, but I don’t know what a wp-config php file or site root directory are or how to access them. I had also read that sometimes this doesn’t work and so that’s why I thought I’d go right to my host.

Perhaps you can tell me how to access the site root directory?

So I’m guessing the answers to my questions are yes? Yes, I can open a jioshop store on my blog and yes, a lack of adequate memory will prevent the plug-in from working on my site.

    Thanks–

    Hi,

I just increased my memory to 4GB but the notice saying I only have 40M is still showing up.

Also, I am still unclear whether Jigoshop is the correct plugin for what I’m trying to accomplish–have a store integrated into my blog.

    Thanks–

    Hi,

I resolved my memory problem, but I cannot “see” my shop. I’ve added products but cannot find out how to “turn” my shop on. What am I doing wrong?!!

I’ve responde you in other post that it could be a problem with menu settings, in case if you are not able to see “Shop” link in menu tab but if the products are missing it’s probably that you need to publish them after you create one, if the product is unpublished it remains as “Draft” and you can not see them on your Shop Page
