    Hi, I wonder if there’s a Gutenberg block option to integrate Quad menu in a full site editing theme?

    Thanks

    @skylabb Hi mate,

    Currently, QuadMenu is not compatible with Gutenberg blocks or Full Site Editing themes. You can still integrate the menu using traditional methods, but there’s no dedicated block for Gutenberg at the moment.

    Thanks for replying. In the past year I’ve been building most of my sites with FSE themes. If it’s not in the plans, I’d like to make a feature request for Quad Menu block. This is the future of WP. You can’t go wrong.

    Thank you

    Hi mate,

    We appreciate your feature request for a Quad Menu block, and I will elevate this suggestion to our development team. However, please note that developing a new block is akin to creating a plugin from scratch, which requires significant resources and time.

    Best regards, QuadLayers Support Team.

    Thanks for passing my request along. In more detail, I don’t mean having a design block to build the entire menu on a page in the editor. I just need to have a way to implement Quadmenu into FSE template. A competing menu plugin has a simple solution and it works well. When you add a menu block to a template layout, you simply select the specific menu you want to display in that location. The menu admin area can still work as it does now. So I don’t see the need to re-do the entire plugin. Just simply extend it with a method to implement menus on FSE template. In fact I’m already using the other plugin and it’s just what I need.
