Integration of Adsense – Color Mismatch from Theme?
-
All –
I know it seems like there shouldn’t be an Adsense question on a WordPress forum, but I cannot find anyone else having this problem (in the world of Google Adsense), so as unlikely as it seems – I’m thinking this must be something to do with my WordPress theme.
I was hoping some of you might just take a glance and let me know what you think…
My Prototype Site: https://www.all-about-the-house.com
The site has been up for about 6 months now, and I only call it “prototype” as I haven’t started a marketing campaign in earnest yet. I’m trying to get everything “just right.” If you click on any of the articles, you’ll see some Google Adsense – look for the skyscraper in the right-hand sidebar.
You’ll see that the instant before it loads there’s a flash of “pale yellow” in the destination container.
This is happening with every single Adsense unit I add. On every page.
I know you’re thinking – “you have to set the Adsense default fill parameter to the appropriate default/background color at the Adsense site.” I did. In fact, I’ve even changed it to CRAZY colors to see if I could see those. I don’t. I continue to get this flash of pale yellow.
Could this possibly be due, somehow, to my theme?
Any thoughts or ideas where I could look?
If I knew the hex code for this “yellow” color, I could grep/search for it — but I don’t have a clue. It’s just… always there as the ads load.
Any insights most appreciated. This is VERY annoying! ??
Thanks…
Mark
