Integrating work of team mates

  • I am caught up in some scenario. Actually my team is working on developing a site using wordpress. They will be working on their machines(localhost) and preparing the pages that come under their share of work. Finally I have to merge those pages into a single site. How can i do that.

  • That will be very difficult. The problem with that is that there’s not an easy way to export single pages/posts and re-import them back into a different installation. Why can’t they work on a single WP installation and do their own bits on that at the same time? WP will handle it easily, and it will be set up in one place with no need for any merging or headaches.

    If you were working with files it would be different, but anything that’s database-based is a completely different, and harder, ballgame.
