Integrating WordPress Login With My Parent Site

Hi,

I have a Java/J2EE based website (let’s say https://www.mb.com). I want to install wordpress as one of the subsites of this site (blogs.mb.com). My parent site already has a custom authentication mechanism. From parent site, when users go to blog.mb.com I don’t want to ask them to login again. I want users to be able to go straight to forum/blog and able to create blog or questions for forum. Basically somehow I need to tell wordpress that user is already logged in.

I have searched a lot on google and have not been able to get any answer. Any help on how to achieve this will be greatly appreciated. Please !!
