• Hi,

I am working on a site for a client and I am wondering if it would be possible to completely hide the wordpress backend from regular registered users (contributors). What this would involve would be to allow contributors to update their profile and edit their posts without going through the wp backend. I’ve already got TDO MF in place for submitting content through the front end, but has anyone even attempted to do what I am talking about with wordpress? I am just looking for thoughts on this and maybe some advice. I am wondering if this platform may not be the best solution for this type of site.

    Thanks,
    Joe

  • This is certainly possible… I did something like this using the cforms plugin (adding some custom logic of my own).

But there isn’t a short answer as to how to do it – basically it will require some coding.
