• Hi

I want to use Appointment+ for as the online scheduling client in my website. My objective is for my clients to view the appointment times in their own time zone. As mentioned to me by your pre-sales staff I should be able to achieve this by using the ‘Use Client’s Time Zone’ plugin. However it doesn’t seem to work for me.

I set the appointment time in my WordPress backend as 7pm and then changed my time zone to Perth time and then cleared all the cookies and accesses the website. Still the time shows as 7pm in Appointment+ booking form (I was expecting it to show Perth time)

Really appreciate of you can help me with this.

    Hey there adora914,

    Hope you’re well today ??

I’ve tested Use Client’s Time Zone it doesn’t work properly with Appointments plugin.

While it does change the time on the front end to client time zone the booked appointments are actually off set depending on clients time zone (+2 time zone will book appointment slot 2 hours later). The reason for this is most likely related to user time zone being in the client whereas the plugin is being executed in the server so the wrong information is sent to the server.

We already had similar requests for this but due to plugin design and complexity of the feature even though we have this considered possible feature for future development it is not something that will definitely be added to the plugin since a lot of changes in the code will have to be made in order for this to work.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
