Instyle Theme

Hello, I certainly hope that someone here can help me, as I am in need of it!!
I am currently using the Instyle theme that you can find at elegant word press themes.

I am having trouble finding the code that relates to the “content area pages” that the theme comes with.

The problem I am having is that everything I add to my other “content” pages (whether it be text, or video) shows up on the “content page area” links on my main/index page, making these boxes extremely long and unprofessional looking. I know there is a way to shorten or cut off this information, giving the viewer the “read more” option.

I have used dreamweaver and the help of my husband to help find this code, but with no luck thus far. I have also tried everything in EPanel to no avail.
