Instructor’s Assistant woes

    Hi,

    I’m sure I’m just missing something obvious, but I can’t work out how to allow instructor’s assistants to edit their instructor’s courses.

    I have:
    Made sure that Instructor’s Assistant is listed as having ‘Unrestricted Preview Access’ in the Lifter settings.
    Created a new user.
    Assigned the user the role of Instructor’s Assistant.
    Assigned the correct Instructor as parent.

    When I log in as the Assistant, I can log in to the WordPress admin panel through the header bar, and see the parent instructor’s courses listed under courses.

    However, I can only view the course – I still get the pop-up warning me that I need to be enrolled to view the lessons. And I can see no way to edit any of the courses – the WordPress admin panel just offers the opportunity to view, and the Lifter dashboard doesn’t list them at all!

    As I say – I’m sure I’m just being dense, but searching the forums and the help pages hasn’t turned anything up – so I’d really appreciate some advice!

    Thank you for reaching out to us and sorry you’re facing this issue.

    According to this: https://lifterlms.com/docs/roles-and-capabilities/#instructors-assistant, An Instructor assistant should be able to edit the courses of his/her Instructor.

    Could you please send us your LifterLMS System Report to see if we can find an issue with your WordPress environment?

    Use services like Imgur, Dropbox, or Pastebin to share screenshots, system reports, and logs. Remember that this is a public forum. If you don’t want your URLs, server paths, and other potentially sensitive information posted publicly and archived indefinitely you should blur or remove this information from your logs and screenshots before posting.
