Instructor email as mailto: link

The url to the instructor’s website automatically has a link, but the email does not. What to do if you want the user to be able to click on the instructor’s email and have it open the users mail program. Normally it is What is it in Events Caledar.
Also I’d like to know how to make it so that when you view the calendar on your phone, you can just press the instructor’s phone number to dial it. Again, someone told me that I need to put tel: before the phone, but that doesn’t work. And what I get in the Events view for the instructor’s phone is “tel:555-1212” when it should be just 555-1212 with a link color so you know you can press it to call.
