Instructions for quickly obtaining an ID

  • Good day, I am sharing instructions for quickly obtaining your account or group ID for Telegram.

    Add it to your plugin description to make it easier for users to work. Your plugin is great! I use it on my sites.

    INSTRUCTION!

    To receive notifications in a private chat with a bot
    Get your Chat ID from @MyChatInfoBot and enter it below.
    Send a message to YOUR BOT to start a conversation.
    Receive notifications to the group:
    Add @MyChatInfoBot to the group to get the chat ID.
    Enter your chat ID in the Send to field below.
    Add YOUR BOT to the group.

    And if you add me as a translator (editor) of your plugin, then I will help you translate it into Russian.

  • Hi Ivan! Thanks for your message. I’ll certly add this useful info to Telementor Readme. Using Endpoint to retrive chat id is not the best for the user experience, but your solution can potentially help hundreds of non-tech users.
