    Hi,

I’ve noticed the setting to have Instructions as Tooltips only seems to work in the Admin area. Is it possible to get this to work on the frontend forms and if so how, what do you need to do?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback!

On front-end forms, Instruction Placement are managed by the Form settings and not by the Field Group.

You can find the “Instruction Placement” setting in the ACFE Form UI, under “Settings” tab. Right now only the native “Label” & “Field” are available, but more will probably come in the future.

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.

Hi. I’m a little confused. What is this referring to then?

    https://www.acf-extended.com/features/field-groups/instruction-placement

There is an option to choose tooltip on the Field Group settings and the instructions are showing as tooltips in the backend, just not on the frontend.

    Hello,

As explained in my previous answer:

On front-end forms, Instruction Placement are managed by the Form settings and not by the Field Group.

The Field Group “Instruction Placement” setting will work in the back-end, but has no effect on the front-end, because there can be multiple Field Groups for one single form. That’s why the Form UI control this setting.

    Hope it helps!

    Regards.
