Hello @mediafluent ,
Thank you for using Direct Stripe.
The buttons settings page replaces the old shortcode inserter form.
In order to create a subscription button :
- create a button in Direct Stripe -> Settings under the Buttons Settings tab.
- Select this button under the Edit Buttons title
- Set the type to Subsription
- Set the Plan ID ( The plan ID is the ID generated when creating a Pricing plan for a Product )
These are the minimal steps fo a button to work, then you can use the shortcode inserter (or the block if you have Gutenberg installed ) in the content areas.
That will display the new shortcode format like [direct-stripe value=”ds-1528308583142″]
Then the button can be customized :
- Label -> Text on the button
- Panel Label -> Text on the button of the Stripe modal form
- Description -> Text that describes the product / service on the Stripe modal form and the logs
- Coupon -> Discount set after creating a Coupon in the STripe admin
- Setup Fee -> Pay an amount at the creation of the Subscription only
I hope that will help, let me know if you need more precise information.
Best wishes
