Instant Stock Check Plugin?

    Unsure if anything like this exists, I’ve seen it on a couple of websites before but can’t recall what software they were running.

    Does a feature/plug in exist for a customer to instantly check if an item is in stock with us (the seller)?

    We are an auto parts supplier but a lot of items we only order in from supplier as/when needed (similar to dropshipping), so it’s not possible for us to use the Inventory stock levels. Instead if we can have a button on the product page, for people to “check stock” and we can reply to it with a leadtime?
