• I thought I had seen a similar complaint, but could not find it today. Apologies if this has already been addressed…
Wordpress version 1.5.2 (fresh download from www.remarpro.com) on CentOS 4.2 with mysql-4.1.12-3.RHEL4.1 and php-4.3.9-3.9

Running the install script (wp-admin/install.php) in the browser (Firefox 1.0.7) results in a displayed blank page. There are no errors, but also not the expected interaction (providing password).

Any help (or pointers to a previous resolution) would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Again, I could not find the details, but I vaguely recall that someone mentioned that the newer versions of mysql and/or php were incompatible with wp 1.5.2

Am I hosed until a newer version of WP is available? I certainly do NOT want to revert to earlier versions of mysql and php.
