Install.php does not run

    Trying to install WP in a subdomain, blog.xxxx.com.

    I have uploaded the WP files into the subdomain/blog/httpsdocs/wp folder (hosted), created a database, edited the wp-config.php file.

    But when I try to run install.php, my browser only shows the install.php as a text document.

    What could be wrong?

    Try another browser? This problem has been posted before, but I don’t exactly remember what it was, but I thought it was a browser thing.

    If it only shows as plain text and it has a bunch of code on it then php isn’t working correctly and you’ll have to talk to your host about it.
