installlation error

I am getting stuck trying to upload my wordpress site. I get the following message

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /homepages/25/d288977833/htdocs/wp-includes/option.php on line 225

I check that file, and s far as I can tell its fine. This occurs after I have uploaded the files to the server, and I am visiting https://MYSITE.com/wp-admin/install.php

i would appreciat suggestions.
