• I have two urls — a .com url and a .net url — both of them link to a root directory at the same host. I want to link to one set of files from the .com address and a different set from the .net address. The set at the .net address are a WordPress database and they are in their own folder at the root. I want to be able to direct users to the WordPress files at the .net address without their having to add /subfolder_name to the end of the url.

I can use the host’s domain manager to point the .net domain at the WordPress folder and I can change the WordPress address in Settings: General so it points to the folder, but that doesn’t work. It finds the files, but doesn’t display them correctly.

I’ve followed the instructions in the WordPress doc “Giving WordPress Its Own Directory”, and that hasn’t helped. Any suggestions?

The urls are jameshowardgreen.com and jameshowardgreen.net/dww. (Right now jameshowardgreen.com and jameshowardgreen.net direct to the same home page.)
