Installing WordPress Through Bitnami and URL

  • Hello,

    My name is Manuel Vinas. I installed wordpress through Bitnami. In order to edit my site I can use the link:

    https://127.0.0.1/wordpress/wp-admin/

    Can I access this without an internet connection?

    Also when I am recommending my page to someone do i tell them to use this URL:

    https://127.0.0.1/wordpress/

    or is it something different? I only ask because I used to create sites on Weebly. With them the URL is something like manuelvinas.weebly.com. Is it similar with wordpress or the URL I provided above?

    Yes, but you must have the Apache and MySQL servers running via Bitnami.

    No, others will not be able to access this by default.

    There are ways to make your local server available to others, but that is not part of WordPress. A search for host my own website will turn up many results.
