    when installing WordPress on a root-server Server wich PHP-Option should i choose?

    to run a secure WordPress on a Vhost – should i choose

    – Fast-CGI,
    – CGI,
    – Mod-PHP or
    – SuPHP,

    ps. keep up the great project: it rocks and i am pretty sure that wp has got friends all over the globe!

    Servers should be using PHP-FPM, which is FastCGI. mod_fcgid is an acceptable FastCGI alternative. The other options you listed are antiquated, slow, and/or have security issues.
