Installing WordPress for SubDomain on single hosting account.

    Having a bit of trouble ?? I am trying to install word press on a sub domain I have purchased. My personal site along with its files(not wordpress)are located in my hostings root public_html. I’ve managed to host several other sub domains by making their own folders in my public_html and directing their root folder from there.

    My issue now is how to install wordpress+a theme in a sub folder on my public_html, ie. public_html/subsite.com and have it run independently from there without altering the workings of my main public folder.

    Any and all help will be more appreciated than you will know (its a b day present for a writer and its on sat :))

    I am really not sure what you mean.

    What do you mean by WordPress+a theme?

    Also, why do you need to purchase hosting from subdomain?

    Normally, subdomain folder are located under the main domain’s folder or root folder or public_html.
