  • Is this a multisite install or single user WordPress installation?

    Single Site install

As long as it’s a single install just follow the normal moving wordpress instructions ??

Depending on your host/web server config your subdomains may have folders within your domains root folder but they should not be affected. I asked if it was single/multi user because I wanted to know if the 30 subdomains were a part of your WordPress install but it sounds as if they have nothing to do with WordPress.

I would do a manual install vs. any one click install your host offers just to be sure nothing happens to any of your subdomains ??

    clarification…..

I have a domain mystite.com. I’m converting the site to wordpress.
Currently we have several different index pages for each sub folder in the site.
    For example mysite.com/Houston displays https://www.mysite.com/houston/index.html
When a user goes to https://www.mysite.com/houston/ the main index page within that folder loads.
How do I create the same effect using wordpress. I need the wordpress version to be able to load with https://www.mysite.com/houston and the same with the various city sub folders within the site.

    wordpress on domains and subdomains.
