Installing Woocommerce .mo and .po files does nothing

I have just installed a new Danish WP installation and installed a fresh copy of Woocommerce. I have checked that the language is Danish, but Woocommerce is still on English.

So I downloaded and installed the language pack from Woocommerce, but there is no change.

I have also tried to force update the language in the Woocommerce tools settings, but it gives me an error:

“Failed to install/update the translation: Sorry but there is no translation available for your language” – The files are placed in wp-content/languages.

Perhaps you could take a look?
