• Hi all,
I already have one WP blog, and wish to get a second one up & running. I plan to link them (ie, hyperlinks on each homepage) but aside from that, they won’t need a shared database of any sort – one is for music, the second one artwork.
Would I be better off simply setting up a second WP account, rather than getting involved with the ‘Multisite’ aspects of WP?
    Thanks for any advice.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. You can always import a separate site into MultiSite, and that’s much easier than going the other way.

    Thankyou…I’ll look into it.

sonicavenger… what did you decide to do? I am looking at doing the same type of thing with 2 separate websites. 1 is a landing page only, and the other is a content page. Would love any advice.

Do they have to be two separate sites?

You can use a landing page with a normal single install.

I am extremely new to all of this. So, I am not sure. When I initially downloaded WordPress it was for redesigning our landing page at our .net site. It was my first attempt at WordPress. After digging a bit, I ended up re-designing our entire website and was hoping to transfer the work that I have done to our .com (which is content site). Our .net site is hosted by DreamHost, but our .com site is handled through our management company. Ideas?
