• I have a remotely hosted site using wordpress. I would like to see if I can install a premium theme like “On Demand” or “Portfolio” to my remotely hosted site.

These are themes I am considering for my site:

    https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/on-demand/
    https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/portfolio/

When I search for these themes in the remotely hosted site dashboard I cant seem to find them, and it does not give me a “premium” option to search under.

When I go to the theme page and click on buy theme, it asks for my “blog address”.wordpress.com. My site is not hosted by wordpress, I have my own domain and I don’t see any documentation that shows how to purchase themes like “Portfolio” and “On Demand” and install them on my own site using wordpress. Can anyone please direct me to the documentation for this? Thanks!

    Thanks for posting this video.

This does not address my specific question for installing premium themes like”On Demand” and “Portfolio” to a remote wordpress site.

    Is this even possible?

Sorry that video was intended for someone else.

If you have the zipped theme file you can click the upload link on the install themes screen and download the zipped file and it will install for you.

It is mentioned at about 1:40 in this videos.

Often the themes for wordpress.com ARE NOT the same for www.remarpro.com, which is what you have.
You need to look for themes for www.remarpro.com, of the themes you chose, there may be a version for you to download to upload to your hosting site.
Try to do some searches on that or the theme vendor.
You may just need to find another theme.

Also know that if you buy a premium theme, you will not be able to use these forums for help, but only get support from the theme vendor.
