    Hello,

I have just installed wordpress and went in to install some plugins but when i do they dont install. It stops at the unpacking stage and then nothing for a long time. I have tried downloading and installing within my site and nothing works. I also tryed using ftp but wheni try to activate it it says Error 500 – Internal server error. What should i do.

If you need more information just ask if needed.

    Thanks

Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for anything useful. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.

    Hi,

Thanks i will do that, but is there any reason that I cant install plugin’s or get’s stuck at the unpacking part of it.

    Thanks

Your server probably doesn’t have the necessary module to unpack the archive, but you should be able to install manually.

I have even tryed installing manually by downloading the zip file and by ftp. But am going to contact my hosting provider to see whats going on, if they know.

    Thanks
