• Hi all!

I have just downloaded the zip files for the plugins, unzipped on my computer and uploaded the folders for each plugin I wish to use. Then I went to the dashboard>plugins and none of them show up!

    What am I doing wrong?

  • “Uploaded” where?
They should be in example.com/wp-content/plugins/ folder.
Also, note that some plugins are only one file – no own directory.

yes I uploaded into the plugins folder but nothing shows up on my dashboard under plugins

I downloaded about 20 of them. Mainly to do with login page, optin page, mailing to members, and optimization ones for getting traffic. But NONE of them showed up! Not ONE!

So can anyone help me with this problem???

    Kel

No, no-one can help you, you didnt provide ANY info.

    where is your blog?
where did you upload them to?
what did you use to upload them?
what are the names of the plugins?

    Thread Starter kel57

    (@kel57)

The names of the plugins (just to name a few) are

    bm-custom-login
    semisecure-login.1.0.3
    mailout
    edit-comments
    email-users.2.5
    wp-opt-in.0.8
    wp-sticky.1.10
    wp-useronline.2.20
    wpmailing
    wp-footnotes.2.2
    wordpress-password-register.2.0
    subscribe-to-comments

as I said, these are just a few.
the ones with single files in the folder are added to the contents>plugins folder whereas the plugins with more than one file are put into the same folder BUT all files are kept in their folder together.

    I used filezilla to upload

    So what is the problem?
