Installing on IIS

  • I have installed the plugin on a IIS installation of WordPress but I can’t get it to work as it says:
    “[04/13/2015 6:21 AM] – FAILURE : Unable to write to .htaccess – server type not supported!”
    The settings for the .htaccess are correct as it is used by other processes without any issues, meaning the permissions are full.

    Any idea how to solve this or/and how to run it on IIS? Thank you!

    Thank you for the kind and fast answer.

    I am using a rewrite application working fine with any other application requesting Apache like rewrite mode.
    What is curious is the string in the plug-in log saying “server type not supported”.
    Anywhere where I can try find the supported server types in the plug-in files maybe?

    Thank you again. The plug-in looks as a great tool and I would feel sorry not being able to use it.
